Why going to the beach is worth it
There is nothing finer than slathering on the sunblock and going for a walk on the beach. The water makes the nice sounds and you can see the wildlife doing it's thing, like clams expelling excess water from those little holes in the sand, or little crabs making their escape into deeper water, not to mention pelicans hunting for food.
Kids are making castles or burying each other, People are tossing balls and sticks for their dogs to fetch. The water is cold, but the sun is warm. The sand is silky beneath your toes.
You can walk barefoot for miles or sit watching the surfers -- board or body style.
I love walknig on the beach, I hope I can enjoy it for years to come.
